Identification of Components of Polymer Extracts by Gas Chromatography with EI and CI High Resolution Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry

This note details a workflow for characterizing complex polymer extracts using high-resolution GC-TOFMS. By leveraging both Electron Impact (EI) and Chemical Ionization (CI), it overcomes the limitations of standard library matching to identify degradants and adulterants.
