DH603 Diffusible and Residual Hydrogen Determinator
概要
The LECO DH603 delivers rapid and accurate residual, diffusible, and total hydrogen measurements. This all-in-one solution with a fixed horizontal furnace ensures efficiency, practicality, and durability. Its advanced thermal conductivity detector (TCD) provides exceptional sensitivity for sub-ppm detection as well as high-range stability. User-friendly software, one-touch calibration, and automated “warm-up” maximize productivity.
Compact, ergonomic, and safe; the DH603 sets the benchmark for efficient, precise hydrogen testing.

How the DH603 Works
The DH603 determines the amount of residual (total) Hydrogen—or total with the ratio of diffusible to residual Hydrogen with the optional piercer—in Iron and ferrous alloys. The determinator features an easy-to-use operating system and advanced furnace control.
For residual (total) Hydrogen determination, a pre-weighed sample is placed in the furnace, where Hydrogen is released by hot extraction into a flowing carrier-gas stream. Samples may be collected using a LECO vacuum pin tube or similar technique. The evolved Hydrogen is measured by a thermal conductivity detector (TCD), and results are reported in parts per million (ppm).
For combined diffusible and residual Hydrogen determination, a molten sample is acquired with a dual-chamber metal vacuum immersion sampler. The sampler is removed from the insulation and placed in the optional piercing unit. The outer shroud of the sampler is punctured, releasing diffusible molecular Hydrogen into the carrier-gas stream, where it is measured by the TCD. The outer shroud is then removed, exposing the inner pin sample for residual Hydrogen analysis. After weighing, the sample is transferred to the resistance furnace; residual Hydrogen is released by hot extraction and again quantified by TCD. Final results are displayed in parts per million (ppm).
