Tracing Disinfectants in Treated Water Impacted by Wildfires

Chlorine treatment of water can form harmful disinfection byproducts (DBPs), especially when wildfire ash is present. GC-TOFMS with deconvolution enables accurate identification of targeted DBPs and other potential contaminants in ash-impacted water.
