Comparing Chardonnays using GC-MS Data Processing

LECO Pegasus GC-MS and ChromaTOF Sync software were used to characterize and compare two chardonnay wines from the same vineyard. By compiling chemical data across samples, key analytes linked to buttery, caramel, and fruity notes were identified, demonstrating how analytical workflows can connect chemical composition to sensory attributes.
